Kiane O’Farrell has recently graduated from Ballarat’s Art Academy studying Musical Theatre. Kiane played the role of Natalie Goodman in Doorstep Arts highly successful production of ‘Next To Normal’ in Geelong early this year. Since then she recently performed in Ghostlight’s production of Carrie: The Musical (Norma) at Chapel off Chapel.


Her time at the Arts Academy saw her play roles in 42nd Street (Gladys), Parade (Iola Stover), and A Little Touch Of Choas (young Sue Masters).


Kiane has completed two seasons playing Tina in the hit children’s series ‘As The Bell Rings’ on Disney Channel. She also was a host for Disney Channel’s ‘New Years Eve Count Down’ and Disney’s ‘Mary Poppins Backstage tour’.


Clay Roberts is a Music Theatre Graduate from the prestigious WAAPA. Soon after graduating Clay was cast in the role of Henry in Doorstep Arts production of Next to Normal. He is currently performing in the South Korean Tour of CATS, Coricopat u/s Mungojerrrie, Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger, Alonzo, Plato/Macavity; While at WAAPA, Clay performed in numerous musicals such as Assassins, John Hinckley Jr; Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jimmy Smith; Once on This Island, Storyteller/Grandhomme; Spring Awakening, Hanschen; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Ensemble; and A Chorus Line, Ensemble. Previous to joining WAAPA Clay performed in his native New Zealand in the musical productions of 42nd Street, Ensemble/Billy understudy, and the role of Doody in Grease for NYTC.




Born and raised in Horsham, country Victoria, Alex is a graduate of The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

Credits include: Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera - London (Cameron Mackintosh); Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone (Melbourne Theatre Company); Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show (TML); Billy in Sideshow Alley (QPAC); Sasha in Fiddler on the Roof (TML) and Sid Worley in An Officer And A Gentleman (Gordon Frost Organisation)(Sydney Theatre Awards nomination for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Lead Role).

For The Production Company, Alex has performed the roles of Older Patrick in Mame (Green Room Awards nomination for Best Male Artist in a Featured Role), Lancelot in Camelot, Gremio in Kiss Me, Kate, Tony in The Boy Friend, Greg Connell in The Boy From Oz, Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Joe Kennedy Jr and Jerry in Grey Gardens.

A Momentary Act was his first solo show. In 2010 the Adelaide Cabaret Festival presented Alex in a new show, Experiment, showcasing the music of Cole Porter.

On television Alex has had roles on Channel Ten’s Rush, the ABC’s Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and Channel Seven’s Winners & Losers.

In 2015, Alex will play Billy Crocker in the Australian national tour of Anything Goes for John Frost and Opera Australia.





Anthony graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 1999 and has since gone on to a successful career in theatre and television.


Theatre credits include: Avenue Q, Shane Warne The Musical, Sydney Theatre Company’s A Month in the Country, The Last Five Years, The Internationalist, Sam Mendes’ Cabaret(Australia, Japan & South Korea) and Miss Saigon. He played Dennis Dupree in Rock of Ages, Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys and was most recently seen in the MTC production of Neighbourhood Watch directed by Simon Stone.

Television and film credits include: The Alice, Network Seven’s All Saints and Mark Lee’s feature film The Bet.


As a Producer Anthony received the Best Film Award at Rebelfest Toronto International Film Festival in 2006 for his work on the feature film Right Here, Right Now.

In 2010 he directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Sydney’s Centennial Park for WildRumpuS Productions.


Anthony currently has two new Australian Musicals in development.



Natalie has appeared in many musical & theatre productions both in Australia and internationally.  


Some of her highlights include One Night the Moon (Rose) at the Malthouse, Mamma Mia (Sophie) Little Star Services, The Sunshine Club (Rose) STC,  The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive) MTC, Crazy For You (Polly), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim Mcaffe) The Production Company, Murderous Instincts (Lauren) Savoy Theatre West End, Les Miserables Cameron Mackintosh, Twelfth Night (Viola) Essential Theatre, Cautionary Tales for Children (Sophie) Arena Theatre Company,  and with Big Hart in The Yjala Yjala project 'Hipbone Sticking Out'.


Natalie will be reprising her critically acclaimed portrayal of Diana in Doorstep Arts' Geelong season of Next to Normal.

Brent was in the inaugural graduating class of SHOWFIT (Centrestage Performing Arts School) in 2010.


Previous theatre credits include My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch (Regional Australian Tour) with Gary Ginivan Productions and Walt Disney Cruise Line where he performed famous Disney Characters Such as Aladdin, Peter Pan and Quasimodo.


Television credits include roles in Rush (Channel 10), Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (ABC) The Stamp of Australia (History Channel), and Neighbours (Channel 10) on a few occasions.


In 2011 Brent lucky enough to be cast in Australian and New Zealand tour of Jersey Boys where he played the role of Joe Pesci for 18 months, as well understudying and performing the lead role of Frankie Valli.


Brent is currently touring with Four Seasons In One Night (China) as the Lead Vocalist.


Brent is thrilled to be able to reprise his role of Gabe in Doorstep Arts’ innovative and inspiring production of Next to Normal.



Anthony Harkin as DAN
